Carl Craig is one of the defining voices of Detroit techno’s second generation. A producer, DJ, composer and restless musical explorer, he has spent his career connecting the city’s futuristic machine music with jazz, soul, funk, ambient and classical ideas.

He founded Planet E Communications in 1991 and has recorded under a constellation of aliases including 69, Paperclip People, Psyche and Innerzone Orchestra. From intimate clubs to orchestral projects and major festivals, Craig’s work keeps Detroit at its core while constantly looking forward.

Carl Craig je jedan od ključnih glasova druge generacije detroitskog techna. Kao producent, DJ, kompozitor i neumorni muzički istraživač, tokom čitave karijere povezuje futuristički mašinski zvuk Detroita sa jazzom, soulom, funkom, ambientom i klasičnom muzikom.

Osnovao je Planet E Communications 1991. godine i snimao pod brojnim imenima, među kojima su 69, Paperclip People, Psyche i Innerzone Orchestra. Od intimnih klubova do orkestarskih projekata i velikih festivala, Craig u središtu svog rada zadržava Detroit, uvek usmeren ka budućnosti.
